Because life is too short to stay at home

Once upon a time, a group of friends decided to go for a snowshoes hike. They started their adventure from the train station of Solliat-Golisse in the Vallée de Joux taking the North direction to go in the dark forest of the Risoux. They had warm clothes with them, sleeping bags in case of necessity, some food and of course drinks to keep warm. While taking the steep ascent they discover a hut with the name of "ONU", they setup a fire and start to take some energy, of course they had a drink to enjoy that moment. The returned on the road to continue, at the cross they took the easiest path as they were up enough, they arrived after less than a kilometer to another hut, the name was "La Girouette", just to compare them they sat inside and had another drink. That's enough said Marc, why don't we continue our hike? They return to the track, walking in the forest and enjoying the silence that provide the snow. They were amazed as they continued to find other huts, some really small and they could just fit in, some others were big and cosy, "Les Fougères", "La Kennedy", "La Belle Etoile". The hike continued from hut to hut until the sky started to be darker, to be safe they decided to spend a night in one of them. The evening was festive, enjoying the drinks, sharing food, the warm wine flowing around and telling nice tales and memories. When the sun went out again, the animal in the forest waking up, so does the group. The first person to wake had turned the fire on and they all had a breakfast to get some energy. "La corne au Fer", "Le Poteau", "Le Bambois", "La Baume", "La Five à Mayor" or "Chalet à Chatron Neuf" that was the name of the hut they would find the second day. The hike was easy going, telling chatting about the evening before. They would discover after a curve the magnificent vie of the Joux and Brenet Lake, that is anouncing the end of the hike, going down to le Pont to take the train back home. So started the first edition of the Risoux Hut Crawl
